A Warm and Natural Duplex Interior
I.B. Duplex Residence was designed and implemented by KUCA Design as a complete residential interior project. Spanning two floors, the residence was approached as a unified living environment in which natural materials, soft colours and functional solutions continue seamlessly from one space to another.
The interior palette combines off-white, beige, soft grey and muted green tones with natural wood, woven textures and carefully selected textiles. Marble-effect flooring creates visual continuity throughout the shared spaces, while decorative lighting, artwork and handcrafted accessories add warmth and character.
Lower-Floor Living Area and Kitchen
The lower floor was planned as a connected social space where the living room, dining area and kitchen function together. Light-coloured furniture maintains a bright and spacious atmosphere, while textured surfaces, timber elements and green accents provide depth.
The compact kitchen features full-height cabinetry, integrated appliances and efficient storage solutions. The spiral staircase, designed with natural wood steps and a white structure, serves as both a functional connection between the floors and a defining architectural element of the interior.
Master Suite and Private Balcony
The master bedroom creates a calm and intimate atmosphere through muted green wall panelling, an upholstered headboard, natural textiles and warm decorative lighting. Full-height wardrobes maximise storage while preserving a clean and balanced appearance.
In the master bathroom, dark marble-effect surfaces are balanced by white cabinetry, a circular mirror and natural wood details. The private balcony extends the bedroom outdoors with compact wooden furniture and a decorative privacy screen.
Upper-Floor Lounge and Guest Bedroom
The upper-floor lounge continues the residence’s natural design language with timber-framed seating, woven rugs, rattan lighting and soft green textiles. A green accent wall and botanical artwork form the focal point, while the open gallery and spiral staircase maintain a visual connection between the two levels.
The guest bedroom follows the same calm and welcoming approach, combining light-coloured furniture, natural textures and green wall detailing.
Terrace Living
The covered terrace was organised into separate dining and relaxation areas, allowing it to support both everyday use and larger gatherings. Timber furniture, rattan chairs, woven lighting and ceramic accessories create a natural outdoor atmosphere connected to the surrounding landscape.
Warm evening lighting and the covered roof structure make the terrace comfortable and inviting throughout the day and after sunset.
Interior Design and Turnkey Implementation
KUCA Design managed the project as a complete design and turnkey implementation process, including spatial planning, material and colour selection, lighting, furniture coordination, custom design solutions and on-site execution. The completed residence reflects a cohesive approach in which functionality, comfort and natural materials form a consistent design language.
