C.C. Tiny House
This single-story Tiny House project, designed by Taiga Design, was built entirely using natural wood materials, offering a harmonious living space connected to nature. Inspired by the Coastal Concept, the house blends the serenity and simplicity of modern coastal living. With a natural color palette, open-plan design, and minimalist details, it creates an aesthetic and functional space. The project’s core theme of sustainability and respect for nature is reflected in every design element.
A Tiny House Embodying the Coastal Concept with Wooden Elegance
In today’s world, the growing popularity of minimalist lifestyles has made Tiny House projects a significant trend, combining eco-friendly design principles with functionality. This project, brought to life by Taiga Design in one of Greece’s picturesque coastal towns, tells a design story that brings the tranquility of nature into interior spaces.
Design Concept: Coastal Elegance
The project reflects the Coastal Concept, inspired by the calming atmosphere of seaside living. The color palette, consisting of white, blue, beige, and natural wood tones, creates a soothing and relaxed environment in both interior and exterior spaces. The design emphasizes wide-open windows and open-plan living areas, inviting nature indoors.
Material Selection: Warmth of Wood
The house is constructed entirely of natural wood materials. Used for flooring, walls, and ceiling beams, wood brings warmth to the space while serving as an eco-friendly building material that enhances the project’s sustainability. The rustic aesthetic of the wooden beams, balanced with modern lines, perfectly complements the coastal concept.
Interior Layout: Minimal and Functional
The interior layout is characterized by an open-plan design, maximizing functionality and aesthetics.
Kitchen and Dining Area: The kitchen island, enhanced with white marble accents, serves as both a functional cooking space and a social hub. A round wooden dining table with textured chairs offers a perfect setting for meals with a sea view.
Living Room: Designed with expansive seating areas and textured accessories, the living room is ideal for relaxation and entertaining. Dominated by shades of blue and white, this space embodies the essence of the Coastal concept.
Bedrooms: Both bedrooms prioritize comfort and tranquility. Floor-to-ceiling windows invite morning sunlight and ocean views, while wooden furniture and natural textiles complete the minimalist design.
Bathroom: Featuring spa-like ceramic floors and wooden accents, the bathroom combines modern fixtures with natural materials for a seamless blend of function and beauty.
Outdoor Spaces: Living Amidst Nature
The terrace and garden area are among the house's most striking features. An outdoor seating space with a stone fireplace creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere for both summer and winter. Surrounded by natural greenery, the terrace offers a serene outdoor living space with refreshing sea breezes. The garden furniture, crafted from natural materials, complements the outdoor ambiance perfectly.
Sustainability and Eco-Friendly Approach
This Tiny House project prioritizes sustainable design elements. The use of natural wood, energy-efficient windows, and a layout that maximizes natural light minimizes environmental impact. The house’s compact structure further reduces energy consumption, offering an eco-friendly lifestyle.
This Tiny House project aims to provide a peaceful, sustainable lifestyle deeply connected to nature. By combining all aesthetic and functional details of the Coastal concept, the project stands as a symbol of minimalist living at its finest.
